Century MD (Hughes) 500-E

I spent abour 3 hours this evening taping off and masking the red trim on the H500. Man I had no idea it was going to be so much work. It's progressing slowly but nicely. As always you see things you wish you had done a little different. THis being my first scale heli, I'm pleased so far with the results. If I can keep my luck rolling for a while longer I'll be a happy camper.

 

Here are two shots of the red trim after I peeled the mask earlier this evening, it's getting closer!

 

 

I couldn't resist after putting some of the decals on after getting the front part of the heli painted. Below are two photos of the clear vinyl decals I had made. They look great! I can't wait to finish this project. I have to shoot the blue on the tail boom and then I can add the remaining decals and the silver vinyl die-cut tail numbers on the boom.
